This folder includes the new updated (2025) grids of simulations computed with Exo-REM (https://gitlab.obspm.fr/Exoplanet-Atmospheres-LESIA/exorem), updates made by Alice Radcliffe - an article detailing these updates is in prep, if possible abstain from publishing results with these grids before it is submitted, but if absolutely necessary cite Radcliffe et al. (in prep). These grids have been cleaned of any unconverged spectra; any grid points with: - spectra deviating >1% from the expected total flux - t-p profiles with significant inversions in the lower atmosphere —> There are thus many grid points missing, especially in the cloudy grids —this is normal. The original model is described in Baudino et al., 2015, Charnay et al. 2018 and Blain et al.,2021. The grids for young giant exoplanets correspond to the case with clouds or to the case without clouds (iron and silicate clouds), with either simple microphysics or fsed parameter. Please cite these papers as well as the Radcliffe et al. article if you use these Exo-REM grids. The grids explore effective temperature (Teff), gravity (log(g)), metallicity (xsolar), C/O and fsed. Parameter values are in the file names. There is: - a cloudless grid `R500_cloudless_2025.tar.gz’ - a cloudy grid with simple microphysics `R500_cloudy_s0.1_2025.tar.gz’ with a supersaturation parameter of s = 0.1 (see Charnay et al. 2018) - a cloudy grid with varying sedimentation parameter (fsed) from, 0.3-9 `R500_cloudy_fsed_2025.tar.gz’ (so an additional parameter, values indicated by `fsed_X' at the end of the .dat title. This grid has many missing spectra at low fsed values — this is normal as the code is very unstable when more clouds are added. The folders include: - spectra_YGP files with a spectral resolution of 20 cm-1 (equal to R=500 at 1 micron) or 0.5 cm-1 (equal to R=20000 at 1 micron): 1st column= wavenumber (cm-1), 2nd column = emission flux at top of the atmosphere (W/m2/cm-1) - vmr_YGP files: 1st column = pressure (Pa), 2nd column = temperature (K), 3rd column = eddy diffusion coefficient (cm2/s), other columns = gas volume mixing ratio (mol/mol) - temperature_profile_YGP files: 1st column = pressure (Pa), 2nd column = temperature (K)
