    Comments: A very steep brightening from mid-october to mid-november (n around 13 for that month, instead of the usual 4 value), as did 6P/d'Arrest in July 1995; still rather diffuse and now visible to binoculars. [Oct.26 m1 corrected with Tycho catalog] Brighter under darker skies... Dec. 17-22. Dec. 25-28: Faint, narrow tail. Dec. 28: Jets in PA 20 and 350. Jan. 17: Fan or Jets in PA 270 and 330. Feb. 14-15: still elongated P.A. 70, but seems to fade rapidly, becoming more diffuse, too.
