5. HOW TO IMPLEMENT AND OPTIMIZE
THE SEARCH FOR OCCULTATIONS BY KBOs
Our thought is thus that the search for occultations by KBOs
using high precision photometry is probably the only tool to explore the small
objects of the Kuiper Belt. It is therefore important to discuss which
observational parameters are necessary and/or possible to fit and
what are the available facilities to implement and optimize such a method.
